NEW COVID GUIDELINES – After an update from the Bishops’ Conference from England and Wales, further guidelines have been issued. The main mitigation against serious health issues arising from covid infection is to be fully vaccinated. We need to move forward safely towards a normal lifestyle. There is no need for formal social distancing but face masks may still be worn. Churches should ensure there is still good ventilation. It is still good practice to sanitise hands upon entry and exit of Church. Holy Communion is still to be given under one kind. Holy Water stoups may now be refilled (and changed at least weekly). The Sign of Peace may now be offered and Parish Social Activities may also resume.
